Researchers at Ford Motor Co. have developed a prototype in-car health and wellness application that would connect drivers to their smartphone, bluetooth enabled device, and the Internet.The Ford SYNC system would allow diabetic drivers wearing a blood sugar monitoring device that has a hands-free bluetooth function to monitor glucose and get alerts if levels are too low.
