    Dennis,

Would like to contact you about Bluetooth and some custom device we have with connecting to SPP using different phones. Not sure if we are doing something wrong in BT chip firmware for our device or is it just the phones not implementing BT SPP properly.

    John Matthews

PS nice last name although mine is the correct spelling…lol

    Hello Dennis,

I am looking for free application or quick example for how to send broadcast action (like ACTION_MEDIA_BUTTON with volume down keycode used simulate volume down media button is pressed) from one android device to another android device via bluetooth. This way we can simulate sending android device as bluetooth device with specific buttons like play/pause/next or call hang up events defined in android. Receiving android device may not have custom application to catch events as receiving content is android defined only.

    Is it possible :-) ?

I have searched over net but found bluetooth or wifi application to control pc or mac. Any free application or simple example to send such intent would be great !!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Dennis,
Sorry I had to write here, couldn’t find anything about your e-mail address.

I saw your question at StackOverFlow about viewing the notification center on the iOS simulator. I wasn’t looking for this but looking for tutorials about using notification center in iOS5. So far I am unable to get anything, there’s a widget but seems for jailbroken devices.

Can you share a guide or a link or something -anything- about this? I mean, about showing notifications in notification center?

    Thanks in advance,
    Cheers.

    Hi Dennis,

I’ve noticed you’ve provided very good answers to questions related to BT and IPhone connectivity. Can you please take a look at the following question : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11511452/if-a-bluetooth-device-is-not-in-the-mfi-program-which-profiles-should-it-suppor

    Thanks,
